Today’s lesson

Today, our Language Arts class, Students reviewed the definitions of declarative and imperative sentences. We then read a passage and had to mark out the periods and proofread the piece. We then identified all the imperative and declarative sentences. We then looked at interrogative and exclamatory sentences and their differences. We then identified from a lair of statements which was which and also turned simple sentences into either exclamatory sentences or interrogative question sentences.

For the Science class, Students wrote the conclusion to their celery absorbing water experiment m. We review the previous experiment and spoke about our findings. We then read the description of the new experiment exploring transpiration in leaves. We watched a video about the process. We then wrote on our science sheets things like materials, procedure and predictions. We then drew a diagram and students performed the experiment.

Everyone did a great job!
